How we are set up

A fleet operator, not a freight broker.

Much of the transport in this market is arranged rather than operated: an intermediary takes the order, then goes looking for a truck. We are the truck. That difference decides whether your load is a scheduling question or a sourcing one.

Capacity, not promises

Fleet depth is what lets us put several units on the same lane on the same day — or hold trucks for a shipment window.

  1. 01

    We own the assets

Every truck and trailer on a Mwendo job is on our books. Nothing is subcontracted out to an owner we cannot direct, so capacity we commit is capacity we control.

  2. 02

    We employ the crews

Drivers, loaders and dispatchers are our staff. They are trained on our loading standards and answer to our operations desk, not to a third party.

  3. 03

    We carry the risk

Maintenance, insurance, compliance and delivery performance sit with one company. When you contract Mwendo, there is nobody else to point at.

Where we run

Kigali at the centre, ports at both ends.

Rwanda has no coastline, so nearly every import arrives on a truck that has already covered a long corridor. These are the lanes we run.

Send us the load. We will send back the truck and the rate.
